These basic instructions will help you install your parts properly..

eliminate any problems that may occur and answer common questions..

ALWAYS DISCONNECT YOUR BATTERY

before removing and installing your seat belts or airbag module.

 SEAT BELTS  REPAIRED AFTER ACCIDENT:

Your repaired seat belts will come wrapped tight with a zip tie and may still be locked. This is normal! Inspect the seat belt for any damage that may have occurred during shipping and then proceed to install it. Once installed and bolted down, cut the zip tie and the seat belt will unlock. If you wish to test your seat belt prior to installing it, you will need to hold it at a 90° angle as seat belts are designed to only work at a certain position. That’s it!

 AIRBAG MODULES  AFTER RESET:

Your airbag module will come back reset to its factory condition, free from crash data & hard codes. Before installing it, be sure that ALL previous faults are addressed and any damaged SRS components are repaired or replaced. This includes crash/impact sensors, airbags, clock spring and seat belts/buckle pre-tensioners. As soon as the airbag module is installed, the system will perform an automatic scan, communicating with the ECU. Your airbag light should go off if no problems persist. However, if your airbag light is still on – you will need an OBD scan tool to retrieve the SRS codes. Most local body shops should be able to do that for you.
